Fishmeal is the best source of protein for animal feed; is used as feed for poultry, laying birds, pigs, ruminants, dairy cows, cattle, and development in fish farming. Its Energy content is markedly higher than many other animal or vegetable proteins as it provides a concentrated source of high quality protein and fats rich in omega 3 fatty acids, DHA, and EPA essential for the rapid growth of animals.

FISH-MEAL

In the raw material for the production of industrial fish meal we use the following species:

• 68PCT Bullet tuna (Auxis rochei rochei), Blue mackerel (Scomber japonicus).
• 65PCT Pacific Bumper (Chloroscombrus Orqueta), Moonfish (Selene Peruviana), Southern sennet (Sphyraena picudilla), Sardine (Sardina pilchardus).
• 58PCT Pacific anchoveta (Cetengraulis mysticetus), and fish scraps from species like Dolphinfish, Sardine, Albacore, Yellowfin Tuna.

DOSAGE

The percentage of inclusion of fishmeal in the balanced feed depends on the species and the stage of life of the animal to be fed.
